Posted on Updated on

Samsung Galaxy’s next smartphone may be controlled with nothing more than your eyes. This feature is called “Smart Scroll” and is described by Samsung as “computer application software having a feature of sensing eye movements and scrolling displays of mobile devices, namely, mobile phones, smartphones and tablet computers according to eye movements; digital cameras; mobile telephones; smartphones; tablet computers.” In other words, the phone detects when your eyes have reached the bottom of a page, and scrolls down with them. Samsung has recently launched a similar feature as well, called “Smart Stay” in which the camera, when in the front-facing mode, can detect whether or not the user is still looking at the screen, and prevents the screen from going into sleep mode until the user looks away. The phone is set to be released on March 14th.
